Early Life and Club Career
Yasser Al-Shahrani was born in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and began his football career with his hometown club, Al-Qadisiyah. On November 11, 2010, he made his debut in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Qadisiyah as a substitute in the second half of a home match against Al-Ittifaq.
In the summer of 2012, Al-Shahrani moved to Al-Hilal. On November 10 of that year, he scored his first goal in the Pro League for Al-Hilal in an away match against Al-Taawoun.
International Career
Al-Shahrani made his international debut for Saudi Arabia on September 7, 2012, coming on as a substitute in a friendly match against Spain. He went on to represent his country in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Australia, and the qualifiers for the tournament.
