Yulia Zimina was born on July 4, 1981, in a small town called Krasny Kut, in the Saratov region of Russia. She grew up in a non-artistic but very friendly and cheerful family. Her father, Alexander Petrovich, was a veterinarian and taught at a technical school, while her mother, Zoya Grigorievna, was a teacher in elementary school. The only person in her family who had any connection to the arts was her sister, Elena, who worked as the director of a folk choir in the local House of Culture.

Since her early childhood, Yulia showed artistic talent. She loved to sing, dance, and impersonate local celebrities and eccentric characters. At the age of eight, she enrolled in a music school and excelled in her studies. However, as she grew older, her passion for the stage took over. Yulia actively participated in concerts and performances at the House of Culture, which affected her academic performance in school. She dreamed of an acting career and was not interested in exact sciences, but literature, Russian language, and music came naturally to her.

After graduating from school in 1998, Yulia knew she wanted to pursue a career in cinema and theater. She happened to hear about the Saratov State Conservatory named after Sobinov on the radio and decided to study there. She was accepted into this prestigious institution on her first try, without any assistance. In 2003, after graduating from the conservatory, Yulia received offers to work in many theaters, but she decided to move to Moscow. She was accompanied by her friend Anna Telitsyna, and they found shelter at a friend's place in the capital. As expected, Moscow did not welcome the young provincial actresses warmly. However, Yulia persevered and worked as a promoter, participated in advertising campaigns, and played minor roles in children's plays. Luck finally smiled upon her when she was accepted into the "Klassny Teatr" (Classy Theater). Over time, Yulia became a star of the troupe, playing significant roles in productions such as "A Hero of Our Time," "Woe from Wit," and others.

In 2005, Yulia's theater colleague, actor Vadim Medvedev, told her about auditions for a new TV series at Mosfilm Studios. Yulia gave him her photo, and soon after, she received a call and was selected for the lead role in the series "Karmelita" directed by Rauf Kubayev. Her fiery looks and inner passion perfectly matched the character of Carmelita. Out of two hundred actresses who auditioned for the role, Yulia stood out. This moment marked the beginning of her stellar career.

Yulia continued to work in both film and theater. She appeared in movies such as "Love Contract" (2007), "Strip Club" (2009), "What Love Hides" (2010), "Clairvoyant" (2011), and TV series such as "Monte Cristo" (2008), "Court" (2009), "Unimagined Murder" (2009), "The Heiress" (2011), "Brothers for Exchange" (2013), and more. She also performed in plays such as "A Storm in a Glass of Water" (2006) and "The Big Zebra" (2009) as part of independent productions. Additionally, Yulia participated in popular TV shows such as "Fort Boyard" (2006), "Dancing with the Stars" (2010), and "Ice Age" (2013).

In 2010, Yulia began her television career as the host of the morning program "Good Morning" on Channel One. Today, she successfully combines her work as an actress and a TV presenter.
