Zane Brane Gesner is an American actor born on June 23, 1970. He rose to prominence portraying Sinbad the Sailor in the television series "The Adventures of Sinbad" and as the villainous Braden Lavery in the ABC soap opera "All My Children."

CAREER BREAKTHROUGH

Before making his mark in television, Gesner landed a minor role as an FBI agent in the 1994 comedy "Dumb and Dumber." He subsequently appeared in several films, including "Me, Myself & I Irene," "Shallow Hall," and "There's Something About Mary." In 2005, he joined the cast of the romantic comedy "Fever Pitch" alongside Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon.

In 1996, Gesner landed his breakthrough role as Sinbad in the fantasy adventure series "The Adventures of Sinbad." Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, the show required extensive special effects.
