Biography of Zlata Bulycheva

Zlata Bulycheva is a renowned operatic singer and a laureate of several international competitions. She was born in Petrozavodsk and completed her vocal studies at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory in 1995, under the guidance of Professor I.P. Levando. Additionally, she underwent an assistantship and internship in chamber singing with Professor K.V. Izotova. Bulycheva also had the opportunity to train at the Stuttgart Music Academy.

Since 1994, Bulycheva has been a soloist with the Musical Theatre Conservatory, where she has performed various roles in operas such as "The Tsar's Bride" (Lyubasha/Dunyasha2), "Eugene Onegin" (Olga/Nanny), "Faust" (Siebel), and "Iolanta" (Marta). She made her debut at the Mariinsky Theatre on April 12, 1996, in the opera "Faust" as Siebel. Bulycheva has also portrayed characters like Konchakovna ("Prince Igor"), Carmen ("Carmen"), Ratmir ("Ruslan and Lyudmila"), Olga ("Eugene Onegin"), the Snow Queen ("The Story of Kai and Gerda"), Nezhata ("Sadko"), Polina/Milovzor ("The Queen of Spades"), Frosya ("Semyon Kotko"), Tsarevich Fyodor ("Boris Godunov"), Erda, the goddess of fate ("Das Rheingold"), Cherubino ("The Marriage of Figaro"), Sonya/Princess Maria ("War and Peace"), Orpheus ("Orpheus and Eurydice"), Niklaus ("The Tales of Hoffmann"), Testor ("Cephalus and Prokris" by F. Araya), Emilia ("Othello"), and Jocasta ("King Oedipus").

Bulycheva has toured with the Mariinsky Theatre troupe in countries such as the Netherlands, Japan, France, Slovenia, Finland, the United States, and Turkey.
