Biography of Zuhair Murad
Zuhair Murad is a Lebanese fashion designer based in Beirut. He opened his first workshop in 1995 and quickly gained a high reputation in the international fashion scene. What started as a simple hobby soon turned into an empire with sophisticated and unique clothing designs beloved by fashion connoisseurs.

Murad recalls, "Ever since I was a child, I imagined designing for imaginary clients... Developing taste through the natural beauty of my country, known everywhere... I entered the world of high fashion." His pompous creations, with sensual colors, extraordinary fabrics, impeccable attention to detail, and glorious grandeur, resemble the attire of Egyptian princesses and Greek goddesses.

His fashion line is extensive, including not only haute couture pieces but also ready-to-wear collections, accessories, and stylish eyewear. Murad plans to expand his brand to include a cosmetics line, perfumes, swimwear, and lingerie. Two Zuhair Murad boutiques, including showrooms, are in full operation. The first is located on Charles Helou Avenue in Beirut, and the second is on Francois Ier Street in Paris. Additionally, the designer's salon can be found in Milan, on Borgogna Street.
Although Murad is still considered a newcomer in the fashion industry, his creations are already sought after by celebrities. Among them are Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Ivana Trump, Beyonce Knowles, and Jennifer Lopez. This star-studded list of fans continues to include Christina Applegate, Vanessa Williams, Shakira, Katy Perry, Ana Ortiz, and many others. Miley Cyrus wore one of Murad's designs at the Oscars, and recently, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez chose his gowns for the Golden Globe Awards in 2011.
Murad also created a dress for Miss France Chloe Mortaud to wear in the Miss Universe 2009 competition, as well as five dresses for the Miss France 2010 final. Florence Welch was last seen wearing one of Murad's creations at the Brit Awards. Her silver silk dress was adorned with gold and silver beaded constructions. At the 2010 Emmy Awards, Nina Dobrev, Christina Aguilera, Wanda Sykes, and singer Jewel all dazzled in Murad's attire.
