NFL Career and Off-Field Issues

Adam Jones was selected as the first defensive player and sixth overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2005 NFL draft. However, his professional career was marred by numerous off-field incidents and legal troubles.

Even before being officially drafted, Adam was already on probation after getting into a fight in West Virginia. He was arrested again in July 2005 for assault and vandalism at a nightclub in Nashville. In September of the same year, he was involved in a confrontation over a car queue, unable to pay for parking services.

In February 2006, he was arrested for illegal possession of marijuana, and in August of the same year, he faced charges for disorderly conduct and aggressive behavior while intoxicated. The most notorious incident of his "criminal career" occurred in Las Vegas, where he assaulted a dancer and fought with a security guard. During the chaos, his friends stole money and expensive watches, and one of them even fired a gun into the crowd.

Later NFL Career

Despite his troubled past, Adam Jones still managed to find opportunities in the NFL. On April 23, 2008, he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys. However, the team decided to release him on January 7, 2009, partly due to the events in Las Vegas.

In August 2009, Adam signed a one-year contract with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but he was released by the team on September 2. On February 12, 2010, he reached a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, but they didn't offer him a contract. He then explored opportunities with other NFL teams, including the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, and Green Bay Packers.

Finally, on May 10, 2010, Adam Jones signed a contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. He managed to stay out of trouble during the offseason and preseason games. Unfortunately, his first season with the Bengals was cut short due to a serious neck injury.

Adam Jones returned to the field on October 30, 2011, and continued his professional career with the Cincinnati Bengals.
