Early Life and Childhood
Alan Ritchson was born on November 28, 1984, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The second son of David and Vicki Ritchson, he has an older brother, Eric, and a younger brother, Brian. As a child, Alan's family moved frequently, living in Illinois and Florida. He attended Niceville High School in Florida, graduating in 2003.
Modeling Career and Acting Debut
Ritchson began his professional career as a model, notably advertising underwear. In 2005, he appeared in a Russian commercial for Orbit chewing gum. In 2005, he made his television debut on "Smallville" as Aquaman, a character he would reprise in four episodes.
Film and Television Roles
Ritchson has enjoyed a diverse acting career, appearing in films such as "Fired Up!" and television series including "CSI: Miami" and "Black Mirror."
