Biography of Albert Avdoyan

Albert Avdoyan was born on November 8, 1970, in Krasnodar, Russia. He is a Russian businessman who has achieved great success in the telecommunications industry. Avdoyan is the founder of the company "Expotel," which is a leader in Mobile WiMax technology. Additionally, he owns shares in the Russian wireless operator "Yota," which provides services in 124 cities across Russia.

Avdoyan is considered a key player in the Russian 4G market, along with Sergey Adonyev, the founder of "Yota." In 2012, it was revealed that almost 40% of the capital of "Megafon," a telecommunications company, was controlled by Avdoyan. He also holds approximately half of the capital of "Telconet," which owns a 14% stake in the holding company "Garsdale." Through the "Telconet" fund, Avdoyan is a minority shareholder in "Scartel" and "Euroset."

Throughout his career, Avdoyan has been involved in various business ventures. In 1999, he acquired a 15% stake in the chemical company "UsolyeKhimprom," and in 2003, he became the largest shareholder of "GazKomplektService." In late October 2009, Avdoyan founded "Expotel" with the aim of becoming a leader in Internet technologies, specifically Mobile WiMax, in Russia. The company quickly gained success and became the first in Russia to provide fiber-optic services. Within six months in 2010, over 500 sales offices were built and launched.

Today, "Expotel" continues to collaborate with all communication operators in Moscow and the Moscow region, providing services based on MPLS technology. The company's fiber-optic network spans over 3,000 kilometers.

Outside of his business endeavors, Albert Avdoyan is a family man and has four children.
