Early Career and Partizan Breakthrough

Aleksandar Mitrovic, a Serbian striker, began his football career with Partizan Belgrade's youth system in 2005. In 2011, he joined Teleoptik for a season, where he made 25 appearances and scored 7 goals in the Serbian First League.

Returning to Partizan in 2012, Mitrovic signed a four-year contract and made his debut in the Champions League qualifying round against Valletta. He scored his first Serbian SuperLiga goal against Jagodina on August 26th, finishing the season with 10 goals in 25 appearances, earning him a place in the Team of the Year.

Transfer to Anderlecht

Mitrovic's transfer to Belgian club Anderlecht in 2013 became the most expensive signing in Belgian football history, with the Serbian striker costing €5 million. He signed a five-year contract.

Newcastle United Spell

In 2015, Mitrovic joined Newcastle United for €20 million on a five-year deal. He scored his first goal for the club against Manchester City in October.

International Career

Mitrovic played a crucial role in Serbia's qualification for the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, scoring four goals. He also won the tournament with his team the following year.

With Serbia's U-21 team, Mitrovic made five appearances and scored four goals, including a brace against Bulgaria in 2013. He made his debut for the Serbian senior team in 2013 against Belgium.
