Professional Football Career
As a footballer, Mohammed Al-Kharashy spent his entire career at Al-Nassr in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He made his debut in 1961 and retired in 1984 after winning numerous trophies, including two Saudi Pro League titles, four Saudi King's Cups, two Saudi Crown Prince Cups, and one Saudi Federation Cup.
Coaching Career
Al-Nassr Manager (1987-2000)After retiring as a player, Al-Kharashy took up coaching at his former club, Al-Nassr. During his tenure, he led the team to three Saudi Pro League titles, one Saudi King's Cup, one Saudi Federation Cup, one Asian Cup Winners' Cup, one Asian Super Cup, and two Gulf Club Champions Cups.
Saudi Arabia National Team Assistant Coach (1994-2000)
In 1994, Al-Kharashy became the assistant coach of the Saudi Arabia national team.
Saudi Arabia National Team Head Coach (2000-2002)
Al-Kharashy was first appointed head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team in 2000. He led the team to the final of the Asian Cup but resigned the same year. He was reappointed in 2002 and guided the team to the FIFA World Cup that year. He also won the Arab Nations Cup and the Gulf Cup of Nations before resigning again in 2002.
Saudi Arabia National Team Head Coach (2008-Present)
Al-Kharashy was appointed head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team for a third time in 2008. He has remained in this role for over a decade, leading the team to numerous achievements.
