Early Life and Career

Alexander Abaryan was born in Derbent, Russia, on December 14, 1897. His artistic journey began in 1922 as an actor at the Kislovodsk Theater. He subsequently became an actor and director in Armenian theaters in Baku and other cities.

Recognition and Accomplishments

From 1946 to 1953, Abaryan served as chief director of the Leninakan Theater. In 1953, he became director of the Armenian Theater of Tbilisi. His exceptional contributions earned him the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Georgian SSR in 1943.
