Early Life and Career
Alexander Chervonenko was born in Ukraine and began his football career as a youth player under the guidance of renowned coach Igor Konotopov.
Club Career
Chervonenko's professional career began with FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia. He subsequently played for various clubs, including Mykolaiv (on loan), PFC Oleksandriya, FC Yalos, FC Titan Armyansk, and Krymteplytsia. During his time at Krymteplytsia, he made 19 appearances and scored one goal, while also playing one match in the Ukrainian Cup.
In 2008, Chervonenko joined FC Phoenix-Illichivets. From 2009 to 2011, he was a key player and captain for FC Enerhiya Nova Kakhovka. In February 2011, he led the team to victory in the Krymteplytsia Cup.
In 2016, Chervonenko returned to his hometown club FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia, where he became captain and served as acting head coach.
International Career
In 2001, Chervonenko represented Ukraine's student national team at the Summer Universiade in Beijing. The team won the silver medal, and Chervonenko was subsequently awarded the Master of Sports of International Class distinction.
