Club Career
Born on March 23, 1970, in Zaporizhzhia, Bezsonov began his professional career with local club Torpedo Zaporizhzhia in 1989. He spent eight seasons with the team, amassing 177 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League and scoring 13 goals. During his tenure with Torpedo, he helped the club secure a bronze medal in the 1995/96 season.
International Career
Bezsonov's international debut came on September 7, 1994, in a Euro 1996 qualifier against Lithuania. Despite Ukraine's 0-2 loss in Kyiv, Bezsonov went on to represent the national team eight times.
