Early Life and Education
Serhii Horenukis a Ukrainian entrepreneur, politician, and social activist. He holds a master's degree in international law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and a specialization in urban studies from CANactions School for Urban Studies.
Professional Career
As an international lawyer and urban planner, Horenuk has specialized in city development, design, and translation. He has led the Bureau of Anti-Corruption Investigations, a non-profit organization. Horenuk also chairs the board of the "Children of the Future" charity.
Urban Activism
Horenuk has co-authored urban development projects for Odessa, Ukraine, and co-founded the community restaurant 4City. His work has focused on improving the livability and accessibility of urban spaces.
Political Career
In 2019, Horenuk ran for parliament as a candidate for the Servant of the People party in Constituency 136, which encompasses parts of Odessa's Malinovskyi and Suvorovsky districts. Elected as an independent at the time, he now resides in Kyiv.
As a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure, Horenuk's responsibilities include overseeing transportation, infrastructure, and communication initiatives. He is also co-chair of the interparliamentary relations group with the Republic of North Macedonia.
