Alexander Ivashchenko Biography
Alexander Ivashchenko is a Ukrainian football player who currently plays as a forward for the Avangard club in Kramatorsk. He began his football career as a student of the Kiev Dynamo academy. On March 29, 2002, Ivashchenko made his debut for Dynamo-3 in the Second League match against Chernomorets-2, ending in a 2-2 draw.
In 2004, he played for Electron in Romny before joining Kiev's Obolon in the summer of the same year. During the 2004/2005 season, Ivashchenko played for Obolon-2 and the reserve team. From 2005 to 2008, he represented Krivbass from Kryvyi Rih, making his debut for the team on March 5, 2006, in a match against Zaporizhia's Metalurh, which ended in a 2-1 victory.
In June 2008, Ivashchenko filed an application with the Professional Football League (PFL) requesting the payment of a debt amounting to 30,000 US dollars, which was unofficially settled, or to be granted the status of a free agent. He later transferred to Ilyichevets in Mariupol and then to Arsenal in Kiev during the winter break. In the summer of 2009, Ivashchenko joined the newly promoted Premier League team, Obolon.
He also made two appearances for the Ukrainian U-21 national team, making his debut on January 17, 2005, in a match against South Korea, which Ukraine won with a score of 3-2.
