Early Career and Youth Teams

In his early football career, Oleksandr Kasyan played for the youth teams of Mariupol's "Ilyichevets" and Donetsk's "Shakhtar." From 2006 to 2008, he represented "Shakhtar-3" in the Ukrainian Second League.

Professional Debut and Loan Spells

Kasyan debuted in the Ukrainian Premier League in 2009 with "Ilyichevets." Following an impressive debut season, he was loaned to "Zarya" for a year. In 2011, he returned to "Ilyichevets" for another short-term stint.

Transfer to "Karpaty" and Trial in Russia

In 2012, Kasyan joined "Karpaty" on a four-year contract. After half a season at the club, he went on trial to Russian clubs "Spartak-Nalchik" and "Tom." In February 2013, "Tom" acquired him on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy.

Stints with "Tom" and "Khimik"

Kasyan made his debut for "Tom" in March 2013, scoring a goal in the team's victory over "Neftekhimik." He was loaned to "Khimik" in August 2013 for the remainder of the season. In March 2014, he scored a hat-trick for "Khimik" against "Angusht."

Return to "Tom" and Time at "Fakel"

Before the 2014/15 season, Kasyan initially joined "Luch-Energiya" but later returned to "Tom." After a brief spell at "Tom," he left the club and joined "Fakel" in July 2015. In the 2015/16 season, he scored seven goals in 30 appearances for "Fakel."

Back to "Tom" and Time at "Baltika"

In July 2016, Kasyan re-joined "Tom" for a year. He played his first match in the Russian Premier League in August 2016. In January 2017, he left "Tom" and moved back to "Fakel." In the summer of 2017, he signed a one-year contract with "Baltika."

Career in Uzbekistan and Retirement

In June 2018, Kasyan joined "Avangard" but left the club in the winter. In January 2019, he moved to "Navbahor" in the Uzbekistan Super League.

International Career

Kasyan made one appearance for the Ukraine U17 team and two appearances for the Ukraine U21 team.

Personal Life

Kasyan met his future wife at the birthday celebration of his teammate at "Khimik," Alexander Manukovsky. In November 2015, he announced that he was in the process of obtaining Russian citizenship.
