Early Life and Education

Birth and Education

Dmytro Razumkov was born on May 12, 1984, in Kyiv, Ukraine. He earned a master's degree in chemical technology and engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine (2001-2007). Subsequently, he pursued studies in positive psychotherapy at the Wiesbaden Academy of Psychotherapy (Germany, 2008-2010) and the Ukrainian Institute of Positive Psychotherapy. He also completed a non-formal education program in existential coaching in 2015-2019.

Pre-Political Career

Journalism and Activism

In his early career, Razumkov worked as a journalist and editor for various publications, including "Moloko," "music.com.ua," and "Moloda Gvardia" (2001-2004). As a student, he founded and published the independent newspaper "Studentika" (2004-2006).

Youth Initiatives

From 2005 to 2010, Razumkov co-founded "SIM - Union of Initiative Youth," an organization focused on non-formal education and youth recreation. He also served as chairman of the Supervisory Board of the "Youth Projects Market" NGO (2015).

Business Activities

Between 2010 and 2019, Razumkov worked as a business trainer and development consultant, collaborating with international and Ukrainian companies. He established a successful business in team training and development, introducing business games for employee training.

Political Involvements

Political Consulting

Razumkov began political consultations on electoral campaigns in 2006, assisting various political forces and candidates. After the 2014 Revolution of Dignity, he primarily worked with new political entities.

Join with Volodymyr Zelenskyy

In November 2018, Razumkov joined Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team, coordinating the "ZeTeam" volunteer project and organizing efforts to staff election commissions.

Party Leadership

On April 2, 2019, Razumkov decided to enter politics alongside Zelenskyy and "ZeTeam." He served as the head of the "Servant of the People" party's election campaign and became a parliamentary candidate.

Verkhovna Rada Chairmanship

On August 3, 2019, Razumkov was elected chairman of the "Servant of the People" party. The parliamentary faction proposed him for the position of Verkhovna Rada Chairman (Parliament Speaker) on May 27, a role he subsequently assumed.
