Early Life and Career

Yegor Yuryevich Pavlov was born in Moscow, Russia, on August 12, 1985. His passion for football began at the tender age of eight, and by the time he was 14, he had joined the youth team of Moscow's Dynamo football club. Pavlov later transferred to Akademika, then to Lausanne in Switzerland.

Sparkling Debut

In 2001, at the age of 16, Pavlov inked a contract with the prestigious Spartak Moscow. He made a scintillating debut in the Russian championship on August 18 of the same year, replacing Vladimir Beschastnykh in a 5-0 victory over Fakel.

National Call-Ups

Despite his impressive performance for Spartak, Pavlov was initially overlooked by the Russian national team. However, in April 2002, he received an invitation to represent the Ukrainian U-17 team. He went on to participate in qualifying tournaments for the XXVIII and XXIX Olympic Games.

Loan Spells and Goal-Scoring Exploits

In 2007, Pavlov was loaned out to Shinnik in the first division. During his debut match against Metallurg-Kuzbass, he netted a goal and helped the team secure promotion to the Premier League. He eventually returned to Spartak after the loan period expired.

Stint with Rostov

In August 2009, Pavlov joined Rostov on a six-month loan. He made history by scoring Rostov's 500th goal in the Russian top flight during a match against Kuban. Despite both clubs and the player himself expressing interest in extending the loan agreement, Pavlov returned to Spartak in January 2010.

Return to Rostov and Transfer to Terek

In February 2010, Pavlov was loaned back to Rostov, but his playing time was limited. He subsequently moved to Terek in February 2011 for a transfer fee of $2 million.

Later Career

After leaving Terek, Pavlov had stints with Krylia Sovetov, Tosno, Luch-Energia, and Ural. In 2018, he signed with Tom at the end of the season and made his debut in March 2018, scoring his first goal for the club a few days later.

Coaching and Personal Life

In 2018, Pavlov transitioned to a coaching role with Anzhi. He is married to Marina and has a daughter named Lydia, who was born in 2015.
