Early Life and Education

Born in the village of Tashlyk in the Grigoriopol district, Alexander Rozenberg began his education at the Dniester Energy Technical School in 1982. Graduating in 1986 with a degree in electrical technology, he worked as an electrician at the "Progress" state farm. From 1986 to 1988, he served in the Soviet Army.

In 1988, Rozenberg entered the Chisinau Agricultural Institute named after M.V. Frunze. He graduated in 1994 with an engineering degree in electrical engineering.

Professional Career

After graduation, Rozenberg joined the state-owned company "Energonadzor" as a leading specialist. In 1995, he moved to "DnestrEnergo" as an inspector in the energy supervision department.

From 2000 to 2002, he held various positions in the Ministry of Justice, including chief specialist, state inspector, and acting head of the state standardization, metrology, and certification service. In 2002, he was appointed head of the state standardization, metrology, and certification service.

From 2004 to 2006, Rozenberg served as the head of the state technical regulation and metrology service in the Ministry of Economy. In the Ministry of Industry from 2006 to 2007, he was the head of the state service for the supervision of legislation in technical regulation, metrology, transportation, and supervision of small vessels.

Government Career

In 2009 and 2010, Rozenberg served as the executive director of the company "Eksprestans." From 2012 to 2022, he worked at the "Tiraspol Bakery Products Plant."

On January 19, 2022, Rozenberg was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources by decree of the President of Transnistria.

Prime Ministership

On May 26, 2022, Prime Minister Alexander Martynov announced the resignation of the government. President of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky nominated Rozenberg as a candidate for Prime Minister. On May 27, the Supreme Council accepted the nomination, and on May 30, Rozenberg was officially appointed Prime Minister.

Personal Life and Awards

Rozenberg is married and has two children. He has been recognized for his service with awards such as the Ministry of Justice certificate of merit (2001), the Ministry of Economy certificate of merit (2005), the "For Labor Distinction" medal (2008), and the "Labor Glory" medal (2019).
