Oleksandr Zavitnevich: Ukrainian Entrepreneur and Politician
Early Life and EducationOleksandr Zavitnevich was born in Ukraine and pursued higher education in the field of radio engineering at the Kyiv Military Institute of Control and Communications. He holds a bachelor's degree in enterprise economics from the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University.
Business Career
Zavitnevich has been the Director of the Smila Foundry Plant in Cherkasy Oblast since 2012. He is also an officer in the reserve.
Political Career
In 2019, Zavitnevich ran as a candidate for the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) from the "Servant of the People" party. He was placed at number 39 on the party list. At the time of his election, he was a non-partisan and resided in Kyiv.
Leadership Roles
Currently, Zavitnevich serves as the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence. He is also the Head of the Cherkasy Regional Branch of the "Servant of the People" party. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the National Council of Communities of the "Servant of the People" party.
