Born on March 3, 1976, in Tbilisi, Ekaterine Tikaradze began her educational journey by graduating from Tbilisi State Medical University in 1998. She went on to receive her State Certificate in General Dentistry in 2005. Subsequently, she pursued specialized training in maxillofacial implantation at the Institute of Applied Sciences, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany (2007-2008), and later completed a course in Healthcare Management Competencies from Akademie für Pflege & Gesundheit, Münster (2015-2016). She culminated her studies with a Master's degree in Management and Business Administration with a focus on Hospital Economics and Healthcare Management from the Danube University Krems, Vienna (2016-2019).

Professional Experience

Tikaradze's professional experience is multifaceted, encompassing both healthcare and management roles. She worked as a Project Development Manager for the "Dentists Without Borders" Foundation in Nuremberg, Germany (2006-2008). Subsequently, she became a Hospital and Insurance Sector Development Consultant for MedTrans Arbon, Switzerland (2008-2013). Her involvement in the healthcare industry continued as a Surgical Manager for conceptual issues at the Dostakari Dental Clinic of Dostakari Medical Center, Sachkhere (2009-2015).

Political Career

Ekaterine Tikaradze's political career began with her appointment as Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Protection in the Georgian government on June 18, 2019. She has maintained this position in the governments of Mamuka Bakhtadze, Giorgi Gakharia, and Irakli Garibashvili.
