Biography of Alexander Parra
Alexander Parra is a renowned actor and Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1976). He was born in Tbilisi and completed his studies at the acting (1966) and directing (1973) faculties of the Kiev Institute of Theatrical Art named after I.K. Karpenko-Karyi.
Early Career
In 1965, Parra started his acting career at the Kiev Children and Youth Theater named after Lenin Komsomol. He then joined the Academic Russian Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka in 1970. From 1979 to 1988, he worked at the Academic Theater named after Vladimir Mayakovsky.
