Education and Early Career

Vasyl Puzanov was born on February 26, 1977, in Kyiv, Ukraine. He graduated from Kyiv National Economic University in 1999, earning a master's degree in legal regulation of the economy. Fluent in English, Puzanov began his legal career in 1996. He obtained his law license in 2000 and subsequently worked in commercial banks.

Public Administration

In 2003, Puzanov founded the law firm "Puzanov and Partners." In 2010, he was appointed deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA), where he served as head of the administration. Later, he was promoted to deputy chairman of the KSCA, where he oversaw public communications, outdoor advertising, and municipal property.

Achievements in Public Administration

During his tenure as deputy chairman, Puzanov played a significant role in returning strategic assets to the Kyiv community, including corporations such as "Kyivgas," "Kyivvodokanal," and "Kyivgorstroy." He also implemented electronic document management within the KSCA and optimized the administration's structure.

Political Career

In 2019, Puzanov ran for Parliament as a candidate for the "Opposition Platform - For Life" party. He was elected to the 9th Verkhovna Rada and currently serves as a member of the Committee on Legal Policy.

Scandals and Controversies

Puzanov has faced criticism for his frequent absences from Parliament votes. He is known as one of the most frequent absentees in the Verkhovna Rada, attending only 10% of votes during a specific period in 2019. Additionally, he was part of a group of deputies who appealed to the Constitutional Court against the cancellation of parliamentary immunity.
