Early Life and Education

Alicia Coppola was born in Huntington, New York. She graduated from New York University in 1990 with a bachelor's degree. Coppola is not related to renowned director Francis Ford Coppola.

Television Career

In the late 1980s, Coppola began her television career as the host of MTV's popular game show "Remote Control." From 1991 onwards, she appeared in numerous television series, primarily in supporting and episodic roles. Notable credits include "Another World" (1991-1994), "Star Trek: Voyager," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "24," "Two and a Half Men," "JAG," "NCIS," "Jericho," "Monk," "Lie to Me," "Bones," "Criminal Minds," and "The Nine Lives of Chloe King."

Film Career

Coppola played a small part as an FBI agent in the 2007 film "National Treasure: Book of Secrets." She appeared in the series "Teen Wolf" as Derek's mother, Talia. In 2019, she had a supporting role in the American comedy-drama web series "Why Women Kill."

Personal Life

Alicia's brother, Matthew Coppola, and her cousin, Denise Di Novi, are film producers. Coppola is married to actor Anthony Michael Jones. They have three daughters together: Mila Roselina Jones (born October 29, 2002), Esme Marlena Jones (born November 7, 2008), and Greta Helen Jones (born February 22, 2010).
