The Path to DJing
"To become a DJ," Alina advises, "one must start with the basics. Determine your musical sensibilities and preferences, as mixing dissimilar tracks can disrupt the flow of a set." Once a solid foundation is established, she recommends acquiring equipment or enrolling in a DJ school. "The key lies in the seamless construction of sets," she emphasizes, "Selecting tracks that complement each other and maintain interest is crucial. Technical aspects, like mixing, can be mastered with practice."
The Recipe for Success
"Patience and perseverance—that's the tried-and-tested formula for success," Alina proclaims. "It may not be groundbreaking, but it's undeniably effective."
Embracing Risk
"Risks are sometimes necessary when other options are limited," Alina explains. "After weighing the pros and cons, I approach each situation differently. The satisfaction of achieving a goal can outweigh the trepidation of taking a leap of faith, while unjustified risks can serve as lessons for more calculated decisions."

"Before DJing, I was a musician," Alina reveals. "Now, I seamlessly blend both roles and explore other creative avenues. I believe my best work lies ahead." She emphasizes, "Even if I cease sharing my musical tastes through DJing, I will never abandon my passion for creating music. It's an inherent part of me."

"My introverted nature limits my circle, but I interact with most DJs and musicians, including Andrei Ivanov, Pasha Kirillov, and Sergey Pimenov." She notes that professional connections often evolve into personal bonds, leading to lively discussions about music and collaborative endeavors.
Remixing and Film Scores
"I haven't had the opportunity to remix film soundtracks," Alina states, "nor have I ever felt particularly drawn to that aspect of the industry. Reinterpreting old film melodies is a current trend, but it's not my forte. I find Andrei Ivanov's original compositions more captivating than his film remixes."
Musical Addiction
"Music is an addiction for me," Alina confesses. "I absorb it constantly, regardless of genre, time, or location. Around 90% of the sounds I hear daily are music. It's a habit I embrace because it enriches my life."
Moscow's Club Scene
Alina classifies Moscow's clubs into three categories:- VIP clubs:Exclusive venues frequented by a discerning clientele seeking entertainment and networking opportunities. They focus on either high-end music or elaborate shows.
- Genre-specific clubs:These venues cater to music enthusiasts with a specific taste and draw a knowledgeable crowd. DJs face high standards in these establishments.
- Multi-faceted clubs:These clubs offer a diverse mix of music and cater to various audiences. They welcome a broad spectrum of patrons, including students, non-VIP regulars, and live music enthusiasts.
Personal Style and Presentation
"My image is not contrived," Alina affirms. "I present myself authentically, both in my appearance and my music. Public figures owe honesty to their audience, and that extends to their demeanor. I wear what suits my style and makes me feel comfortable. I avoid blatant brand logos, as I find them excessive. Clothing should enhance one's presence discreetly."
Collections and Hobbies
"I collect music and films," Alina reveals. "I have a particular fondness for auteur cinema, non-commercial films, and suspenseful narratives. 'Kino bez Granits' is a film series I've nearly completed." Regarding music, she notes, "My collection reflects my evolving tastes. I used to have over 1000 CDs and 500 vinyl records, but I've recently downsized to MP3 format and shared some with others."

"The Internet empowers me to connect with people and access the information I need," Alina says. "It's an essential tool for staying informed, exchanging ideas, and communicating with those far away.
