François Découper was a French water polo player who won a bronze medal at the 1900 Summer Olympics.
Olympic Participation
Découper competed in the Olympics as a member of the fourth French team. Due to the absence of an opponent in the semifinals, the team automatically advanced to the final, where they faced the Belgian team.
Bronze Medal
In the final, the Belgian team defeated the French team. However, as a third-place match was not held, Découper and his teammates were awarded bronze medals.
