Amalia of Bavaria was born in Munich as the only daughter of Duke Karl Theodor and his wife Sophia of Saxony. She was born on an unspecified date.
Marriage to Duke Wilhelm von Urach
On July 4, 1892, Amalia married Duke Wilhelm von Urach in the city of Tegernsee. Duke Wilhelm belonged to the morganatic branch of the House of Württemberg. In 1918, he was proclaimed the King of Lithuania, a title he held for just over a hundred days.
Children and Death
Amalia and Duke Wilhelm had nine children together. Unfortunately, Amalia passed away in Stuttgart at the age of 46, shortly after giving birth to their ninth child.
