Early Life and Education
Amankeldy D. Yermegiyevwas born on June 14, 1944, in Kegen District, Alma-Ata Region, Kazakhstan. A member of the Kerney sub-clan of the Kara Kiseks clan within the Argyn tribe, he completed his studies in 1968 at the Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute named after V. V. Kuibyshev, earning a degree in construction engineering.
Career in Construction
- 1960-1961:Worked as a farmhand- 1961-1962:Concrete worker at the Construction Management Department (SMU) of the "Almataoblstroy" trust
- 1968-1971:Various roles within construction companies, including master, foreman, and chief foreman at SMU "Textilstroy" and PMK of the "Almataapromstroy" trust
- 1971-1988:Senior foreman, chief engineer, head of PMK, and director of the "Almataobltyazhstroy" trust
