Early Life and Education
Ali Elham Huseynovwas born on March 25, 1981, in Baku, Azerbaijan. He completed his secondary education at Baku Secondary School No. 1 in 1997. In 2001, he graduated from Baku State University and went on to pursue a degree from Moscow State Regional University, graduating in 2005.
Career
Legal and Engineering RolesDuring his university years, Huseynov worked as a general legal counsel for Eurostyle from 1999 to 2002. In 2006, he joined the Baku Deepwater Foundations Plant named after G. Aliyev as an engineer in the joint projects department.
Government Service
From 2006 to 2008, Huseynov served as a consultant in the youth organizations sector of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the years that followed, he held various positions in the government, including:
Head of the Department of Work with Public Organizations and Political Parties (2008-2010)
Head of the Department of Work with Territorial Management and Local Self-Government Bodies (2010-2011)
Deputy Head of the Executive Authority of Nasimi District (2011-2019)
On October 31, 2019, Huseynov was appointed Head of the Executive Authority of the city of Yevlakh by President Ilham Aliyev.
Honors and Political Affiliations
In recognition of his service, Huseynov was awarded the Medal for Distinguished State Service on June 22, 2019. He has been a member of the New Azerbaijan Party since 2006.
