Early Life and EducationAnastasia Mytrakzhik, a young Ukrainian actress, was born on November 28, 1989, in Kyiv, Ukraine. While Kyiv holds a special place in her heart, she considers Terobevlya, a small town in the Ternopil region, her second hometown due to cherished memories of spending summers with her grandparents there. Mytrakzhik's grandfather, Nikolai Savchenko, is a celebrated war veteran, decorated with two Orders of Glory and two medals "For Courage."
After graduating high school, Mytrakzhik enrolled in the Kyiv National Aviation University but simultaneously pursued her passion for acting at the "Black Square" improv theater studio. The thrill of performing ignited her desire to make a career in the field. She relocated to Moscow and joined Oleg Kudryashov's acting group at the Institute of Theater Arts.
Theater Career
During her time at GITIS, Mytrakzhik graced the stage in productions such as "The Village of Peremilovo" and "JUDA." Her vocal talents were showcased in the musical "What is the Buzz?" where she featured alongside renowned choreographer Oleg Glushko's dance performance "Aurora."
Upon graduating in 2014, Mytrakzhik joined the Moscow Pushkin Drama Theater. She has since appeared in renowned classical plays by masters like Molière, Ostrovsky, and Chekhov. In the premiere of "The House that Swift Built," she landed a leading role. Other notable performances include "The Profitable Place" and "V.O.L.K." Her exceptional talent was recognized with the "Hero of the Season" award in the category "Love at First Sight."
Film Career
Mytrakzhik's filmography may be modest, but her performances have been impactful. In 2015, she played Sonia Lipkina, one of the underground fighters in the war drama series "Young Guard." This role propelled her to fame in Russia and other Russian-speaking countries.
