Director of the 61 Communards Shipyard

In 1950, the graduate of the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute, Boris Andreevich Bukanov, became the Director of the 61 Communards Shipyard. He held this position until 1959.

Director of the Black Sea Shipyard

From April 1959 to September 1979, Bukanov served as the Director of the Black Sea Shipyard. Under his leadership, the shipyard achieved significant success.

Party and Civic Involvement

Bukanov was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and attended the 25th Congress of the CPSU. He was also honored with the title of Honorary Citizen of Mykolaiv.

Awards and Recognition

In 1966, Bukanov was awarded the prestigious Golden Medal of the Hammer and Sickle, which is a symbol of the Hero of Socialist Labor. This award recognized his outstanding contributions to the shipbuilding industry.
