Roman Kitsuta began his football journey with DYuFL clubs "Zmina-Obolon" and "Obukhiv." He later transitioned to the Second League with "Borysfen-2," making his debut on July 22, 2001, in a 4-1 victory over Cherkasy "Dnipro."

In 2006, Kitsuta was loaned to "Zakarpattia Uzhhorod." He made his Vyssha Liha debut on March 5, 2006, in a 1-1 draw against "Volyn Lutsk." Kitsuta subsequently played for "Kharkiv" and "Arsenal Kyiv" in the top division and "Cherkasy Dnipro" in the First League.
Stints with Premier League Clubs
Kitsuta joined "Lviv" on loan in 2008 and then moved to "Obolon Kyiv" in 2009, both Premier League clubs. He then signed for "Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih" in 2010.
International Career
Kitsuta represented Ukraine at the under-17 and under-21 levels. In 2018, he made his debut for the Ukrainian national futsal team in a match against Italy at the European Futsal Championship on home soil. He even scored a goal against Montenegro in the final group match.
