Early Life and EducationViktor Mykyta was born on January 31, 1968, in Arkhangelsk, Russia. In 1990, he relocated to the Zakarpattia region of Ukraine, where he has lived and worked ever since. In 1997, he graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy of Ukraine with a degree in Law.
Business and Banking Career
After graduating, Mykyta held various positions in the banking sector. He also pursued entrepreneurial endeavors in Zakarpattia. From 2011 to 2020, he served as the Director of "Chateau Chizay," a winemaking company based in Berehove, Zakarpattia.
Governor of Zakarpattia Oblast
On December 7, 2020, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Mykyta as the Chairman of the Zakarpattia Oblast State Administration. This appointment marked a significant milestone in his career, recognizing his leadership qualities and understanding of the region's needs.
