Early Life and Club Career

Anderson Santamaría, a Peruvian footballer, was born in Lima and began his football career at the capital city club Deportivo Municipal. In 2010, he joined Ayacucho, making his Peruvian Primera debut on August 29 against José Gálvez. He scored his first goal for Ayacucho on May 3, 2012, in a match against Cienciano.

Santamaría moved to León de Huánuco in early 2013, making his debut against his former club Ayacucho on February 9. His first goal for León de Huánuco came on April 20, 2014, in a Peruvian Cup match against Juan Aurich.

In early 2016, Santamaría signed for Melgar, making his debut on February 10 against Sporting Cristal. He scored his first goal for Melgar on May 6 against Universitario.

Move to Mexico

Santamaría left Peru in early 2018 to join Mexican club Puebla. He made his Liga MX debut on January 20 against Veracruz.

International Career

Santamaría made his debut for the Peru national football team on June 14, 2017, in a friendly match against Jamaica.
