Mustapha Dahleb - Algerian footballer and attacking midfielder

Mustapha Dahleb is an Algerian footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Born in 1949, he began his professional career in 1969 when he joined the French club "Sedan". However, he only made two appearances for the club over two seasons.

Club career

In 1971, Dahleb returned to Algeria and played for the local team "Belouizdad" until 1973. He then made a comeback to "Sedan" for the 1973-1974 season, where he had an impressive performance, scoring 17 goals in 27 matches. As a result, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain the following season.

During his time at Paris Saint-Germain, Dahleb became one of the club's greatest players. He played for the team for 10 years, appearing in 306 matches and scoring 98 goals, which remains one of the best records in the club's history. He won the Coupe de France with the team in 1982 and 1983.

International career

From 1972 to 1984, Dahleb represented the Algerian national team. He was not only a key player but also served as the team's captain during the 1982 FIFA World Cup. His leadership and skills contributed to the team's success in the tournament.

After his successful career at Paris Saint-Germain, Dahleb spent the 1984/1985 season playing for the football club "Nice" before retiring from professional football.
