Biography of Andriy Danilenko
Andriy Danilenko is a Ukrainian politician who served as the mayor of Yevpatoria from 1998 to 2014. He was born in Ukraine and completed his higher education at the N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 1979, specializing in production of hulls and mechanical engineering.
Career
From 1979 to 1981, Danilenko served in the Soviet Army. Following his military service, he worked as a foreman at Workshop No. 92 of the Bolshevik Leningrad Plant in Yevpatoria from 1981 to 1985. He then became an engineer at the Special Design Bureau "Complex" of the Central Research and Production Association "Cascade" (Center for Long-Distance Space Communication) in Yevpatoria.
In 1985, Danilenko joined the Eupatoria City Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, initially working as a propaganda and agitation instructor. He later held positions as an industrial and transport department instructor, head of the industrial and transport department, and deputy head of the organizational department. From 1990 to 1995, he served as the second secretary of the Eupatoria City Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine and chairman of the Eupatoria City Council of People's Deputies. He then became the chairman of the Eupatoria City Council from 1995 to 1998.
Additionally, since 1995, Danilenko has been the chairman of the Council of Regions under the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He held the position of mayor of Yevpatoria from 1998 to 2014.
