Presidential Representative to the Cabinet of Ministers
President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Andriy Gerus as the Presidential Representative to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Early Life and Education
Andriy Gerus was born in 1982 in Novovolynsk, Volyn Oblast, Ukraine, into a mining family. He graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 2004, earning a degree in economic cybernetics. In September 2013, he enrolled in an MBA program at Grenoble École de Management in London.
Career in Investment Management
From 2007 onwards, Gerus held various positions at Concord Capital, an investment management company. He served as Director of Investment Activities from 2014 to 2015, when he was appointed to the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NKREKP).
Appointment to the National Commission
In August 2014, Gerus was named a member of the NKREKP. During his tenure, he was responsible for regulating the energy and utilities sectors.
Return to Concord Capital
In the summer of 2015, Gerus returned to Concord Capital as Executive Director. He remained in this role until his appointment as Presidential Representative to the Cabinet of Ministers.
