Family Background

Oleh Holobov was born into a family of scientists and medical professionals. His father, Mykhailo Holobov, was a renowned chemist, pharmacist, and inventor, while his mother, Olga Holobova, was a therapist and radiologist.

Education and Military Career

Holobov received his primary education at School No. 66 in Kyiv. He then pursued a military education, attending the Kyiv Suvorov Military School (1988-1990), the Kyiv General Command School (1990-1993), and the Odessa Institute of Ground Forces (1993-1994). He also completed a postgraduate program at the Odessa Institute (1994-1998), specializing in tactical reconnaissance.

Sporting Achievements

In addition to his military career, Holobov is an accomplished aquabike racer. He won three Ukrainian championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006, earning the title of Master of Sport.

Political Career

In 2006, Holobov was elected as a deputy to the Odessa City Council on the "Our Ukraine" party list. He served as secretary of the Standing Commission on Economic, Investment Policy, and Banking Activities. However, his term was cut short when he was stripped of his mandate in 2009.

Civic Activism

Holobov is the founder of the public organization "Be Good." He has also led the Odessa regional branch of the "Unified Center" party since 2008.

Recognition and Awards

In 2008, Holobov won the "People's Recognition" award in the category of "Charity of the Year." This award celebrates his significant contributions to charitable causes throughout his career.
