Biography of Andrey Lavrik

Andrey Lavrik is a Belarusian football player who has played in the positions of defender and midfielder. He has also represented the Belarusian national team. Lavrik began his career playing in the DYuSH of the city of Cherven in the Minsk region, under the guidance of coach A. A. Chernovets. He later joined the Dynamo school in Minsk. Lavrik played for the farm club of Dynamo Minsk, known as Dynamo-93 Minsk. From 1992 to 1993, the team played under the names Dynamo-2 and Belarus. He also played for Dynamo in Minsk, Lokomotiv in Moscow, and Dynamo in St. Petersburg. From 2004 to 2007, Lavrik played for Perm-based Amkar. However, in the 2007 season, he was no longer included in the main lineup as the head coach, Rashid Rakhimov, favored Nikola Drinčić. On January 24, 2008, Lavrik joined Moscow's Torpedo as a free agent and played in 5 matches in the 2008 season. However, he left the team on April 29, 2008, due to the early termination of his contract. In July 2008, he signed a six-month contract with the Kazakhstan champion, Aktobe. In January 2009, Lavrik extended his contract for a year until 2010. In March 2010, he signed a contract with Baltika. He has played 37 matches for the Belarusian national team.
