Early Life and Education

Angela Locsin was born in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines, to Angel Colmenares and Emily Hernandez. Her parents divorced when she was 14, and she primarily resided with her father.

After completing high school at St. James College in Quezon City, Angela pursued a university degree at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. In 2007, she attended a short course in fashion design at London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

Acting Career

Angela began her acting career at age 19 with a role in the 2004 fantasy drama "Mulawin." She gained wider recognition for her portrayal of the titular superheroine in the popular Philippine series "Darna."

In 2007, she left GMA Network and signed with ABS-CBN, marking her debut with the series " Lobo." Her first film role was as Ara in the 2007 romance "Love Me Again."

Currently, Angela stars in ABS-CBN's "Imortal," a sequel to "Lobo." She has also appeared in the Philippine adaptation of Emily Brontë's "Wuthering Heights," titled "The Promise" (2007).

Modeling and Fashion

In addition to acting, Angela is a successful model. She has graced countless magazine covers and been featured in numerous advertising campaigns.

Directing and Design

Angela is also involved in directing and fashion design. She has collaborated on music videos and short films, showcasing her creative talents. Her interest in fashion extends beyond modeling, as she has expressed aspirations to become a clothing designer.
