Identical Australian Twins

Identical Australian twins, sharing the same bed, the same boyfriend, and never straying more than a few meters apart, have been dubbed the 'World's Most Identical Twins'. Lucy and Anna DeCinque have spent over $250,000 on cosmetic surgeries to achieve maximum similarity. They have become stars of a Japanese comedy TV show, which has significantly increased their popularity. The 28-year-old twins from Perth, Western Australia were born one minute apart. Invited to participate in the TV show, the sisters competed with other twins and pranked people on the street. However, the Australian twin sisters stood out significantly from the other participants. "Others can easily go shopping without each other," Lucy and Anna explained. "You see, we can't. We don't leave each other's side. And others don't sleep in the same bedroom like we do." When even a computer couldn't determine the difference between Anna and Lucy, the duo was named the most identical twins in the world. The honorary title was obtained in Japan, but the official status of the DeCinque sisters is still unknown. The twins revealed some secrets of how they manage to 'maintain their resemblance', including talking about their diet. "When she eats to her heart's content, I eat the same amount," one of the Australians said. "When she stops eating, I stop too. We want our bodies to look the same. We want to weigh the same." "We argue every day, but only about trivial matters. It's normal, and everything goes back to normal. We are best friends, so we don't want to lose each other," they added. The sisters didn't hide the fact that they went to extreme measures, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on cosmetic procedures, including lip fillers, breast implants, and 'fixing' their eyebrows and eyelashes. "From an early age, we looked very similar. We wanted to undergo the same procedures because we do everything together, because we want to look the same," they explained. Living in a house with their mother, Anna and Lucy even date the same guy. In their opinion, it is the perfect arrangement for both of them. They used to have different boyfriends before, but the sisters always chose brothers or at least friends. Their current shared boyfriend is Ben Byrne, an electromechanic who also lives in Perth. "For us, it's not that strange," Lucy explained. "We have one guy, and we share the same bed with three of us. For guys, having two girlfriends at once is a dream come true. Our tastes align in everything, so it's obvious that we like the same guy. We are always together when we have sex, and if we both want the same guy, let it be. Every date should be a double date. Either that or nothing at all." The DeCinque sisters have been inseparable since a young age. They went to preschool, primary school, and high school together, and then started learning beauty secrets together at college. Because of their striking resemblance, Anna and Lucy were constantly mistaken for each other, even by their closest relatives, especially their father Luigi, who passed away in 2010. Lucy said, "Our mom always could tell us apart, but our dad rarely could. He would ask, 'So, who is who?'" Only a small mole on Lucy's cheek and a scar on Anna's forehead can serve as hints that are almost unnoticed, just like their former boyfriends did not notice. "We had so much fun, especially when we were younger. If we got bored, we would switch boyfriends. If I didn't want to talk to my boyfriend on the phone, Anna would pretend to be me. We played such games, and no one could figure us out. Now we have matured a bit," Lucy said. Anna got her scar in childhood when she fell in the bathtub, and it is one of the few things that did not happen to both of them at once. At the time their father was diagnosed with cancer and Luigi could no longer leave his home, Lucy and Anna became even closer. They quit college and stayed home to take care of their father until his last breath. At the age of 24, the Australians decided to get breast implants, stating that they were inspired by Kim Kardashian. Today, they have to spend a lot of time on self-care to maintain their appearance. The twins visit an infrared sauna, do microdermabrasion and skin peels once a week. They train according to the same program and follow the same diet. Anna said, "We love taking care of ourselves. Isn't that what girls should do?" The DeCinque sisters do not drink, do not smoke, and take pride in their appearance, preferring a new outfit for every Saturday night. Their wardrobe is full of tight mini-dresses and towering heels. "We will never wear the same outfit twice when we go out," Lucy said. "Everything has to be new. When we go to a clothing store, Anna already knows what I will like. We always know what the other is thinking. We stopped buying gifts for each other because, in the end, we buy the same thing." Having gained experience in caring for their frail father, Anna and Lucy decided to help elderly people by being responsible for meal service. Even the money they earn, the twins put together in the same bag, managing not to argue about it. The DeCinque sisters claim that they are capable of feeling each other's pain. "If Lucy is at the dentist," Anna said, "I feel her pain." The twins have been repeatedly reminded that their extreme closeness could lead to serious problems in the future. What if one of them wants to get married and leave the other behind? What if the reason for separation is the death of one of the twins? However, for now, Anna and Lucy simply brush off such speculations. Lucy concludes, "We can't imagine a day without each other. Honestly, I think it will never happen."
