Early Life and ChildhoodAnna Nicole Smith, originally named Vickie Lynn Hogan, was born on November 28, 1967, in the small town of Mexia, Texas, USA. Despite growing up in a simple American family, she sincerely believed that her true mother was the legendary Marilyn Monroe, rather than her birth mother, Virgie Hogan. Anna Nicole disregarded the fact that Monroe passed away in 1962. Her father, a hardworking man, left her and her mother shortly after her birth and disappeared.
