Early Political Career

Annalisa Pannarale began her political journey in 2007 as the Secretary of the Communist Refoundation Party in Bari. In 2010, she rose to become the Secretary of the regional branch of Left Ecology Freedom (SEL) in Apulia.

Parliamentary Elections and Secretary of the Chamber of Deputies

Pannarale's electoral success came in 2013 when she won a seat in the Chamber of Deputies during the parliamentary elections. She represented the XXI electoral district of Apulia and served as one of the Secretaries of the Chamber of Deputies from March 21, 2013, to October 31, 2014.

Commission Membership and Party Affiliation

Since February 23, 2015, Pannarale has been a member of the VII Commission, which focuses on Culture, Science, and Education. She previously served on the Commission for European Policies. On December 17, 2016, Pannarale joined the Italian Left party and, from May 24, 2017, became part of the parliamentary group "Italian Left - Left Ecology Freedom - Possible."
