Birth and Early Service

- General Anton Lyudvigovich Gizettiwas born on 11th June, 1836.
- Completed his education at the Odessa Richelieu Lyceum.

- Joined the service in 1855 as a non-commissioned officer in the Podolsk Infantry Regiment.

- Promoted to Ensign in 1858.

Military Career
- Graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff in 1863.
