Artistry and Music Career

Ardit Gjebrea, an Albanian singer, songwriter, and producer, began his musical journey at the tender age of five, performing in Albanian children's festivals. He gained recognition with songs such as "I mëmbël zëri i gjyshës", "Kur kendoj për ty moj nënë", and "Ballë për pionierin dëshmor."

On December 17, 1991, Gjebrea's career took a significant turn when he won the prestigious Festivali i Këngës në RTSH with his song "Jon." He claimed the same honor again in 1995 for his song "Eja."

Over the course of his career, Gjebrea released three albums, starting with the self-titled "Ardit Gjebrea" in 1992. His 1997 album, "Projekt Jon," became Albania's best-selling album. It showcased Gjebrea's artistic range, blending influences from Albanian traditional music, Balkan and Mediterranean sounds and instruments, and contemporary international music trends. His 2004 album, "Ja ku jam," featured Gjebrea's heartfelt translations of inner journeys, nostalgic moods, and rock and pop anthems.

Hosting and Production

Gjebrea has also established himself as a renowned television host and producer. He has hosted and produced numerous shows, including the popular "Telebingo," several editions of the annual "Miss & Mister Albania" competition, "Dua më shumë Shqipërinë," "Rokoloko," "Krishtlindje në Tiranë," and many others. In 1996, he hosted the Miss Europe competition, held that year in Albania. Gjebrea also hosted the 19th edition of the Miss Model of the World in China in 2007.

Kënga Magjike Festival
