Arman Karamyan: Armenian Football Player
Arman Karamyan is an Armenian football player who played as a forward for the football club "Buftya" and represented the Armenian national team. He has a twin brother named Artavazd.
Search for a New Club
After the end of the 2009/10 Romanian championship season, the contracts of both Arman Karamyan and his brother with "Steaua" expired. They began searching for a new club where they could continue their careers together. However, the process of finding a new club took longer than expected. Later, there were reports that the brothers were in negotiations with "Brasov". Unfortunately, the head coach of "Brasov", Daniel Isăilă, stated that the transfer of the Karamyan brothers was unlikely to happen as the negotiations reached an impasse. There was another potential opportunity for them to join "Astra" in Ploiești, which was coached by Mihai Stoichiță. However, the negotiations stopped after Stoichiță left the club. According to the football publication "TotalFootball", the extended search for a new team was due to the brothers' high financial demands, as they were asking for a minimum of 10,000 euros per month.
Transition to "Unirea" and Retirement
There was a possibility for the Karamyan brothers to end their playing careers and transition into coaching. In mid-September, the brothers officially joined "Unirea" in Urziceni after signing a contract. Arman made his debut for the club as a substitute in the 81st minute of a match. However, in late October 2011, Mihai Stoichiță, who was well aware of the brothers' playing techniques, invited them to join his team, "Mioveni". Nevertheless, Arman and Artavazd decided to retire from professional football and pursue business ventures.
International Career
Arman Karamyan made his debut for the Armenian national team on January 9, 2000, in a match against Guatemala, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
