Arthur Panov: Poet, Writer, and Blogger
Early Life and InfluencesArthur Oleksiyovych Panov was born on February 24, 1998, in Krasnodon, Ukraine. He attended Krasnodon Secondary School No. 1. As a child, Panov attended music school where he learned to play the guitar, piano, and accordion. He actively participated in various competitions and festivals, both nationally and internationally.
Literary Beginnings
Panov began writing poetry at the age of 11. His works were later published in local newspapers. Inspired by social and political issues, Panov became a prolific writer and blogger.
Controversial Bank Robbery Attempt
In 2013, at the age of 15, Panov made headlines for an attempted bank robbery. He handed a cashier a note demanding money to be delivered within two hours or face the threat of a building explosion. While authorities detained him before the deadline, the intended recipient of the stolen money remains unknown.
Mental Health and Treatment
A court declared Panov not responsible for his actions, and a forensic psychiatric examination diagnosed him with a mental disorder. He was subsequently sent for treatment.
Collaborations and Personal Life
Panov was a close friend of Natalia Okley, whose mother was involved in a double murder and child abduction case in 2012. Natalia was the only individual aware of Panov's plan to rob the bank. After the incident, they lost contact, and Natalia relocated to Luhansk.
Online Presence
Since January 2014, Panov has maintained a personal video blog on YouTube. He also authored the now-defunct website "Freedom" from 2014 until its closure on April 30, 2014.
Literary Career
In 2014, Panov published a collection of poems titled "Mysly v Stikhakh" ("Thoughts in Verses"). His works continue to explore social and political themes, earning him recognition in Ukraine and beyond.
