Arzvik Minasian: A Profile of Political Accomplishments

Early Life and Education

Arzvik Gareginovich Minasian was born on January 1, 1972, in Vosketas Talin, Armenian SSR. In 1995, he graduated from Yerevan State University with a degree in Economic Mathematics. He subsequently completed a law degree from the same university in 2001.

Academic and Professional Career

Minasian's academic pursuits extended beyond his undergraduate studies. He participated in training programs at the International Institute of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Moscow State University, and the Vienna United Institute. From 1999 to 2000, he served as Deputy Chief of the Armenian Securities Market Inspection.

Concurrently with his professional career, Minasian lectured at Yerevan State University's Faculty of Economics from 1999. In 2004, he joined the faculty of Yerevan State Economic Institute. From 2000 to 2005, he was a member of the Armenian Securities Commission.

Political Engagement

Minasian's political involvement began in 2007 when he was elected to the Armenian Parliament as a member of the Dashnaktsutyun party. He actively participated in various international conferences and is the author of numerous academic publications.

Current Role and Recognition

Minasian's dedication to public service culminated in his appointment as Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia in 2021. He is a respected figure within the Armenian political landscape and his contributions to the country's economic and social development are widely recognized.
