Aslan Darabayev

Aslan Darabayev is a Kazakhstani footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Tobol and the Kazakhstan national team.

Early Life and Career

Darabayev began his football journey playing street soccer in his hometown. In 1996, his family moved to Karaganda, where he continued his informal football education. At the age of 13, he joined the FC Saturn Maykuduk club under the guidance of Ruslan Karzhabaev.

Professional Debut with FC Shakhtar

In 2008, Darabayev signed his first professional contract with FC Shakhtar. He played 17 games in the championship and 2 in the Cup during the 2008 season. Despite his efforts, he did not score any goals. He was not included in the squad for the 2008-2009 UEFA Cup.

Bronze Medal and Cup Success with FC Aktobe

In 2009, Darabayev helped FC Aktobe secure a bronze medal finish. He played 26 games in the championship, scoring 3 goals. In the Cup, he played 6 games and netted the decisive goal in an away match against FC Ekibastuz.

Transfer to FC Atyrau

Darabayev joined FC Atyrau in 2010, where he played 6 games.
Return to FC Aktobe

After a brief stint at FC Atyrau, Darabayev returned to FC Aktobe in 2010 and signed a long-term contract. He contributed to the team's silver medal finish in the 2010 season.

International Career

Darabayev was first called up to the Kazakhstan U-21 team in 2009 and played in 3 matches as captain. In 2010, he received his first national team call-up from then-coach Bernd Storck.
