Born in Heidelberg, Germany, Kluckhohn embarked on his academic journey at the University of Heidelberg and later pursued advanced studies at the University of Göttingen.
Academic Career
Professor at the University of MunichIn 1858, Kluckhohn was appointed professor of history at the University of Munich. Simultaneously, he assumed the role of editor for the critical section of the prestigious local historical journal.
